Can I buy more than one ticket at a time?

Yes, but you will be asked in the ticket system to list each participant separately. A separate ticket will then be issued for each person.

Are there tickets at discounted prices?

In order to make participation in the symposium possible for all interested parties, prices for the symposium pass (including all lectures and workshops from 15 to 17 September 2017) have been graduated according to the personal net monthly income (see Buy tickets). In this way, all interested parties should be allowed to participate in the symposium, regardless of their personal income situation. A discount for ticket prices is therefore not provided.
The early bird booking bonus is valid until 30 June 2017 and includes a price reduction of approximately 20% compared to the ticket prices valid from 1 July 2017. Online ticket sales will end on September 10, 2017.
Your honesty in choosing your ticket price is small but effective contribution to peace in our society. We trust that this open approach is helpful in enabling many people from all income categories to attend.

Is it possible to buy tickets at the entrance as well

Yes, of course. However, if possible, we request booking in advance in order to make the process at the reception desk as easy as possible.

What are the options for food and drink during the symposium?

The ticket price includes a simple lunch for Saturday and Sunday as well as a coffee break on Saturday. In addition, there is the possibility of self-catering at a cash bar. Unfortunately, there are only a few restaurants or snack bars within the surroundings of the Austria Center.

Where is the Austria Center Vienna and how do I travel best?

Vienna has one of the best public transport networks in the world. The easiest way to get to Vienna Center Vienna is by underground line U1 (station Kaisermühlen-Vienna International Center). But also by car you can get directly from the parking garage to the symposium.

Will there be child care?

Unfortunately we cannot provide childcare at this event, but please contact us if you have any other questions regarding suitable workshops for your child or teen.

How is the symposium financed?

The organisation is based on voluntary work by members and friends of Shambhala and is dependent on broad support and, above all, active participation. The symposium is funded mainly by the sale of tickets and by donations.
